Sales Associates

We are currently looking to hire Sales Associates who will oversee the growth of our business in the Philippines.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Take ownership and drive revenue within a specified country/region.
- Execute a sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop a strong understanding of customers’ specific decision-making and purchasing process, understanding their business needs and objectives.
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Communicate the value proposition to customers clearly, through in-person and/or online meetings, proposals, and presentations.
- Develop and manage the pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned targets.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients from cold and warm leads.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Submit monthly sales reports.
Qualifications:
- A proven sales hunter and with an excellent track record in driving sales.
- Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
- At least 2 years of prior sales experience preferably in Education and/or SaaS products.
- A self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, self-driven, analytical, and well-organized with excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in English and the assigned countries’ local language.
- Minimum diploma holder.

We are currently looking to hire INTERNS in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam, who will assist the team in the following areas.
Role and Responsibilities:
Academics | Marketing
- Produce engaging educational video content.
- Create other video collaterals for marketing and promotional purposes.
Sales
- Conducting cold calls to potential clients.
- Generate Excel sheets for sales team to update monthly sales performance
- Tally and tabulate sales performance results for monthly reporting
Customer Service
- Able to understand the platform and assist users/members with platform related queries.
- Assist to set up customer FAQs and process guides.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Possess good digital literacy
- Able to manage tight deadlines and work well independently
- Detail-oriented and meticulous

E-Learning Content Designer [Remote]

We are currently looking to hire Business Development Managers in the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Malaysia and Vietnam, who will oversee the growth of our business in these markets.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Design and development of quality e-learning content that consists of an assortment of media types such as video, animation and other instructional technologies
- Conduct quality needs analysis with the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design courseware for effective learning by gathering the learning needs, content, schedule and scalability requirements for development projects
- Develop, conceptualize and edit Instructional Design document and storyboard that will be translated into finished interactive content
- Design and develop multi-media content for our e-learning courses based on sound pedagogy, accessibility, and usability principles
- Perform quality assurance on learning projects to meet Akadasia standards and must be delivered in a timely fashion
- Coordinate with the academics team to prepare developed modules for quality testing and deployment in LMS
- Effective use of digital media, eLearning development tools, and other emerging technologies to create and deliver quality computer based training
- Design and develop engaging and memorable learning opportunities (including related learning elements) then publish final eLearning modules in a learning management system
- Convert existing documentation and training materials into engaging and effective online courses and take part in the continuous content process improvement with the academics team
- Work with stakeholders to develop release and development timelines
- Report status of projects to the Chief Academics Officer
- Inspect, test, verify and validate all the multi-media content
- Implement software quality maintenance
- Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Instructional Design and Technology, or a related field in Education and Training
- At least 2 – 3 years working experience in Curriculum Design, Instructional Design, Adult Content Development and Training practices
- Familiar with a variety of content authoring software and applications commonly used to develop e- learning and multimedia content such as Articulate, Vyond, PowToons, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Premiere, Doodly, Loom, GoAnimate, Etc.
- Experience in creating web pages using HTML, XML and other web technologies is preferred
- Have a good working knowledge of eLearning standards including SCORM, xAPI technologies and learning management systems
- Experienced managing multiple projects concurrently
- Positive mindset and able to drive team to achieve desired quality standards

Chief Financial Officer [CFO]

We are currently looking to hire a Chief Financial Offer [CFO], who will work with the CEO to drive the company’s financial planning and investment strategy.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding the company’s financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to the CEO
• Drive the company’s financial planning and analysis efforts
• Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
• Manage relationships with banks
• Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
• Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
• Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as CFO, finance officer, or relevant role

Academics Manager, Philippines

We are currently looking to hire an Academics Manager who will oversee the growth of our business in the Philippines.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide support and guidance to teachers, including leading the teacher induction and running CPD sessions where relevant
• Effectively manage materials and resources
• Maintain academic administration as set out by the Chief Academics Officer
• Carry out lesson observation and feedback and end of course feedback sessions for teachers
• Design teacher training courses as required to meet operational demands
• Work with the Marketing Team to plan, schedule, host, and manage virtual events
• Assist the Sales Team in the Philippines by providing relevant and current information on all matters related to academics
• Assist with the induction, meeting, and greeting of new staff joining the Akadasia family
• Plan, implement and run weekly calls with the academics team
• Cooperate with accrediting organizations, such as the National Educators’ Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) and the Professional Regulation Commission of the Philippines (PRC), to help ensure successful accreditation of all Akadasia courses and webinars
• Support the Business Development, the Sales and the Marketing teams when needed
• Effectively manage, nurture and grow the Academics Team in the Philippines
Legal Requirement:
All applicants must have the eligibility to work in the Philippines prior to commencing employment.
Qualifications:
• A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Education
• Five (5) years relevant work experience including experience in academic management and/or teacher training
• Excellent communication skills in English are a must. Knowledge of other Asian languages is an asset but not an essential requirement
• Ability to communicate with judgment, diplomacy, and tact with staff and clients from different cultures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Client service orientation and excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated familiarity with, or experience in, a range of crosscultural experience and international development experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
• Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Google Classroom/Canvas/Moodle/Backboard LMS, and Padlet/Mentimeter/FlipGrid/Kahoot/Etc. experience)
• Excellent understanding of the NEAP and PRC accreditation process for academic and webinar content and training programs
• Ability to work independently and as a team member; cope with workload pressure and deadlines; and work in a results-based environment
• Interest in/willingness to travel. International and/or domestic travel, when permitted, may be required to meet scholars, clients, etc., including evenings and weekends, and to participate in events as necessary
• Thorough knowledge of the education system in the Philippines
